Beyonce couldn’t resist the charming lure of African fashion as she chose to place the spotlight on local fashion brands during a trip to South Africa. With the help of stylists, Zerina Akers and Peju Famojure, she brought a few brands into the limelight by wearing them during her trip to the continent earlier this month for Global Citizen Festival. Afterwards, the singer took to her Instagram newsfeed to showcase all the different outfits she wore in a style diary manner saying, “Thank you to the talented African designers who kept me feeling fresh. Y’all go so hard.”

Afrikanista and Yhebe Designs:
Beyonce proved that simple can be chic in this look. The t-shirt is courtesy of Paris-based Afrikanista paired with a high-low skirt from Ivorian label Yhebe Design.
Tongoro Studio
Beyonce rocked two looks from the Senegalese fashion designer’s line, Tongoro Studio. The first is the Fall/Winter 2018 MALIKI Powersuit and the second look is the ZANZI set.
Rich Mnisi
